Elder Maughan and Elder Merrill (Rexburg) Elder Maughan and Elder Merrill, the sister missionaries, and the Spanish speaking elders, along with Elder and Sister dePaula had Easter dinner at the home of the Cruz family.
Elder Maughan found out that Sister de Paula was in the Mormon Tabernacle choir when John Williams came to Salt Lake City for the Olympics in 2002. (Elder de Paula retired in 1997)
John Williams is one of Elder Maughan's favorite composers so he probably had a nice visit with Sister de Paula!

Just a note of clarification - Elder de Paula retired from the Choir after in 1997 and Sister de Paula retired in October 2002. Each had 18 years service - the rule for retirement being 20 years or the conference after one turns 60. So there you have it:-)
